It's still early for fiddleheads to start coming up but they should be here soon if temps keep going up like they're forcasting. I like fiddleheads myself, but they seem to be one of those things that people either love or hate. Why I have fiddleheads on the brain this morning I don't know, must have something to do with my ancestry. I imagine that my Acadian ancesters after having gone through a rough northern Maine winter and having depleted whatever fresh vegetables they had stored for the winter must have been mighty happy at the sight of those first fiddleheads popping out of the ground in the spring.
