I think the best word to describe this Maine summer so far is steamy. We've gotten lots of thunderstorms and lots of 80 degree weather with high humidity...not my favorite northern Maine weather. Of course the rest of the country has been in a heat wave also so I can't complain too much. Besides my favorite summer month is coming up soon, August is usually cooler in the 70's during the day and down to the 50's at night. And I plan on enjoying every day of August because come September 1st we know winter's not far off.
